I strongly suggest that all clients contact me for a referral to a real estate attorney prior to signing any listing agreement for the sale of their home or an offer to purchase so the attorney can be sure the terms of the listing agreement and offer are favorable to you. There are often “boilerplate” clauses in these contracts that are not favorable to clients which should be revised or removed.
